We’re doing something like this:

We have reserved ____seats in your honor. _____will be attending. _____decline with regret.

Please select the meal choice of each guest attending by writing their name in the proper place below.

Beef___________________________________

Chicken________________________________

Vegetarian______________________________

Children’s selection________________________

*please contact the bride with any specific food alergies

if your guests are like mine, you will still get a surprising number of responses from your friends who, apparently can’t read, and just put a check mark! 🙂

@SweetartMD: thanks for asking this! This is something I thought about a while ago and realized that I didn’t know how to word it! So you’re not the only one 🙂

Now I have to figure out what to use on my seating cards to designate meal choices…hmm…

We did the “please initial next to your meal selection” so far…2 people have done it correctly. I’m just guessing who wants the beef and who wants the fish, if I guess wrong, they can switch. I think no matter what you do, you’ll get some cards filled out wrong.
