@Dimples723:  Are the names written on an inner envelope? If not, I think it would be best to specify the number of guests invited if you think it would become a problem.

yes, I think you can hand write in the (of x) and it would be fine.

Come celebrate with us!

We have reserved ____ seat(s) in your honour [you fill this out before mailing]


{      } graciously accepts

{      } regretfully declines

I ordered mine like you did, then i got panicked and had them remade. Thank god I didnt print them yet. It scares me, people are so rude they will just invite whomever they choose if you dont tell them a number!

I would just follow up with people who respond incorrectly. 

I didn’t do anything other then address the invitations to who was invited, and I had zero people screw it up.  We didn’t invite kids, and not everyone received a plus one.

Anyone who screws it up, can be easily followed up with.  They are the ones who should be embarassed.
