I was thinking about having our friends and some family members RSVP by phone or email. I don’t want to have everyone, aka older guests, do this because I know they’re not as tech savvy…if you have/had an RSVP card with wording for phone/email/website response requests, could I see a picture? Or the wording you used? I am looking at samples of them online while at work tonight and the spaces they have provided seem awkward for this…maybe its just me being too tired to function?! Lol.

I didn’t do this, but I’m bumping to see if anyone else can help. Good luck!

When I thought of doing this, I was planning on just having 2 different RSVP cards: one for tech savvy and the other for those who aren’t. I gave website info (which Includes our RSVP) with the save the dates and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the older ppl who responded by website, so Im scratching the 2 different rsvp cards now.

@LincsMama: Here’s mine. Simple. To the point, like my entire invitation 🙂
And a close-up in case you can’t read it 🙂
If I were doing some by mail, I would have done a different rsvp card for those recipients. I don’t know of a way to combine them creatively, and all the return envelopes would still need stamps.

Thanks! I was thinking of doing two different ones too…one for those who would more than likely mail them back and then one for the tech savvy folks!

@LincsMama: This is exactly what we did! We decided RSVP cards were too much hassle for everyone, so we’ve just put our phone numbers and a joint email address on the invitation:
Please RSVP and advise of any dietary requirements by Friday 28th February:
Fiance 0412 345 678 | Me 0498 765 432
(All perfectly centred and at the bottom of the invitation.)

Just so you know…
The rule of thumb is that if you send out RSVP Cards that mention mailing them back and include an envelope to mail them back in… then you really have to include postage on said envelope
To not do so, would be rude… as you cannot predict who will and will not choose that option
So if you decide to go with 2 choices… Mail vs Electronic
You truly need to either print out 2 types of Reply Cards
OR as I say, provide Reply Envelopes & Postage Stamps for everyone
Something logistically to consider as you make your plans… go forward from here.
