    I think “we’ll be there” and “we can’t make it” is already different and non-traditional. I get what you’re trying to do with it, and I am an openly professed sucker for a play on words (refer to my Edible Favor thread to confirm haha) but to me, a pun is only as good as how cute it is. I do have to agree with your concern that it is off-putting to say they are sour. And “sweet and sour” together isn’t cute enough to override that. Sorry.

    The design is so adorable, though! The finished product with the map and twine is going to look great.
