One lady on here did something really fun like

-Accepts with pleasure

-Decilines with regret

-Accepts with regret

-Declines with pleasure

-Will fail to respond but eventually accept

etc. It was awesome. I wish I could remember who it was–it was about 5 months ago, and I tried to search for her.

A cool blog about it: http://www.weddingbee.com/2011/02/21/fun-rsvp-wording/

We went with super funny invites and RSVP’s, as Fiance and I are certainly not the ‘request the honour of your presence’ type!

Our RSVP’s had the following options (something I saw ages ago that I always wanted to use).

Will be there:
-with bells on
-sans bells
-undecided yet on bells

 Will not be there:
-heard there were people wearing bells
-bells were not a factor in the decision-making

It was cute and quirky, and I loved seeing the additions people wrote on the RSVPs (e.g. that they would also be wearing whistles!)

Our invites were a far cry from traditional as well – the way we worded them still makes me smile, because they are just so ‘us’ 🙂
