Has anyone started receiving RSVPs? If so, what are the results??
We invited around 190 adults (and 10 kids) and are thinking we will end up around 150-165 adults (and some kids) total. Mom is freaking out a little that EVERYONE will say yes… she clearly hasn’t been studying wedding message boards like I have!
We sent out our invites this week (RSVP date of July 20th for August 11th wedding) and started hearing today that local guests have received them. I’m guessing the first responses will start rolling in early next week.
When did you start getting RSVPs in? Did you find that most of the earlier ones are “accepts”? My guess is that the “declines” wouldn’t come until closer to the end, but I’m not sure.

I’m getting married august 4th, we had our invitations out in march. we invited 200 people and have only recievd accepts for 4 guests so far, people that live close are pretty much gaurenteed for us but we’ve gone from a guest list of 200 to a guest list of about 85 people.

We sent ours out the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and have gotten a lot back so far. We invited 160 people and are thinking we’ll end up closer to 130-140 but so far we’ve gotten back 47 accepts and 4 declines. Our first one came back about a week and a half after we sent it – maybe a little less, I can’t quite remember!

We sent ours out on May 31st and have gotten quite a few back. I just was counting where we’re at, and we’ve got 9 regrets and 63 accepts out of 256 invited. I keep trying to reassure Fiance that the declines will come at the end. Right? 😉

We mailed out invites right before memorial day, due back July 16 for our destination wedding. We have 34 back with 53 yes and 5 no people, about a third of our total invites. We got the first no about a week ago, so we are definitely seeing the YES responses first.

We sent ours out about 4 weeks ago. 47 invites went out, we have gotten about 50% back, and all have been yes. We invited around 100 guests, will probably end up with about 90.

I sent mine last Monday for our august 11th wedding, and actually got some the day after locals received them. 12 cards back of 120ish invites mailed, two regrets from Out of Town guests. It’s really exciting to see the little yellow envelopes in the box!

I sent mine out the first week of June, for my August 18th wedding. We invited about 150 people and so far I’ve received 59 accepts, and only 1 decline. I’m thinking the declines will start rolling in closer to the RSVP deadline, July 28th.

We sent ours out first week of May, asking people to RSVP by June 15, our wedding is August 1st. I know 6 weeks lead time is early, but we have a lot of OOTs and the hotel discounts were only good until 5 weeks before, so we wanted to get them motivated. Also, we need to give our final count and pay the remainder of our catering bill to our venue July 1st.
Well, June 15 has come and gone and I’m shocked at how many people did not respond. a lot of them were long distance, and we didn’t expect them to come, but a response is nice! I should mention that we asked people to RSVP through our wedsite. It’s SO easy to use, but there was still a couple people who acted like it was beyond them to fill in a text field with their name and click “Send Rsvp”… haha!
anyway, we’ve now received 75 Yes, from 126 invited. I’m closing the online feature this coming weekend. I’m not chasing down people unless they were already a verbally confirmed yes. I’m hurt that some of my own friends didn’t get it together to reply, even to say sorry, can’t come. Sheesh!

@mtnhoney: I know how you feel! My rsvp due date is in about a week and we still have 100 that are MIA (about 40% of the invite list)! I sure hope I have a lot in my mailbox after work today :).

Yeah mine are slowly comnig in(Sent out end of May). No declines yet, but I’m finding that alot of people feel that since they are not coming they don’t need to send the reply card back in or if they see me they feel like they should just tell me! What is so hard about dropping a prepaid envelope back in the mail!!!! And also I put to initial entree’s so that I know who is getting what, but only 3 people have done it out of the 20 or so that I have gotten back! haha.
