So I’m not sure if this is true for all latinos out there but RSVP cards are useless. My people just do not RSVP, I’ve only got about 7 out of 60 invites. Im worried Imma have a ton of Colados-random people who tag along- and not enough room or food. I tried telling some people in person to please send it back so I can reserve them a spot but not much has happend. Any suggestions?

I’d call them or facebook them. I know it is a ton of work but it will give you peace of mind. WHen you call them or facebook them, make sure that they know they WONT GET IN without an invitation. Tell them there will be somebody at the door asking for the invitation. that’s what I’m doing since I know how we are!

i worried about this too. when my rsvp date passed we contacted everyone who we thought didn’t “get it” and told them that we were doing reserved/assigned seating, so if they wanted a seat AND a meal at our reception they needed to respond and if we didn’t receive their card then we were assuming they wouldn’t be there.
we ended up having sort of the opposite happen- people who had rsvp’d with a “yes” didn’t show up :/
