Even MORE adhesive questions!
Are glue dots permanent?
What should I use to attach paper to a magnet permanently(or do magnets come with sticky-backing)?
What should I use to attach the magnet/paper STD to the paper (something like those rubbery gluey dot things that attach credit cards to paper when you get them in the mail)?

You can purchase magnets that have the adhesive on one side, for the paper.
Also, glue dots come in a variety of removeable, semi-permanent and permanent.
I hope that helps!

Check out Zots as a name brand – if you go to a Michaels, Joannes or a scrapbooking store you’ll find the right kind of adhesive for your needs.
Also, as family works for 3M (the post it note people…) I have an overloading of products from over a lifetime and I know that Scotch Brand Tape makes a double sided tape thats non permanant. COmes in a roll like regular tape. You’d fine it more often at officesupply stores I’m sure.

I used the removable Glue dots for my STD magnets. I got mine at michaels & I know they sell them at Hobby Lobby.
Make sure when you are putting them on, you don’t remove the dot with your fingers to place it on the card- place the dot (while still attached to the roll of dots) and then RUB it onto the new surface and it comes off fine with no messing up the dot… I used my fingernail, but I’m sure a coin or some crafting rub tool would work just as well.

For the temporary adhesive, be sure to avoid rubber cement because it dissolves the magnet material. We learned the hard way and received a great suggestion for temporary dots in this posting.
