I loooooove that! Rubies diamonds and rose gold – all my favorite things! Haha. I have a super old (like got it when I was 13) ruby right hand ring in the “princess di” style. I’ll take a pic. rubyroundhouse :

Just remembered that I have another ruby ring. We had a spontaneous engagement so we became engaged way before any ring plans. This one was the placeholder, but I like it so much that I asked my bf to forget about making another one and just use this one for real. In the end he insisted on the three-stone ruby, and I think I will stack this one.

I just bought a new sapphire right hand ring, but it hasn’t arrived yet:

SabL22 :  Now I’m even more curious about what your stone is. The color changes are so pretty! But, no matter what the stone, it is a fun and beautiful piece to wear and admire every day. When I was younger (In high school … so about a gazillion years ago — ha, ha!), I had a stone that changed colors sort of like that, although not as dramatic. I suspect the cut in your stone is much better than mine was. It would go from purple to greenish-teal to blue. I never knew what it was, but I loved wearing it. I think I somehow mislaid it during a move or something else. Sometimes, I still think about it and miss it.
