I know some of you guys follow me on Instagram, so I blocked out names to protect the other people in the post (not really myself lol). Is this rude??
I have not spoken to this woman in years. Since 2012. She was a coworker- we never hung out outside of work, not even once. One day, she abruptly quit where we were working, and moved to Florida. She did not give me her address, her phone number, and only recently added me to FB (within the last year).
She also got married in FL since then and now, and I was not invited. (my invite must be lost in the mail still..) She was not even present when Fiance and I got together, and probably wouldn’t know his name, had I not tagged him, that’s how interested she has been in me until this post!
She did not reach out via message or any other way to congratulate me in anyway, or catch up on old (work) times. I have posted our engagement photos, my ring, and photos of the whole wedding planning process- buying flowers, visiting the venue- etc. Why is she all of a sudden AND PUBLICALLY upset??
i am not going to respond. I think her grammar has embarrassed her enough, and anything I say would potentially offend more. I’m just peeved. Rant over!

I honestly can’t even understand what she just said, except for her not getting an invite. Seriously, is she drunk? Or is her grammar always that bad?
And yes, it’s rude.

Bizarre!! Any chance she’s joking?

Everybody’s grammar is confusing.

I’ve read that like 5x and I still have no clue what she’s even trying to say to determine if she was being rude or not…. And I don’t get what the person above is saying either. Did everyone fall asleep during English or writing class???

Not sure why you are even bothered by it lol. I don’t think her comment is rude…just stupid 😂😂😂😂

pinkshoes: the person above her said “I put in for other departments”. He’s a police officer and used to work for my department. He quit for a civillian job, and looks like he is now trying to get back into Law Enforcement.
heputaringonit: her grammar is prob always that bad. She is from Jamaica.

Slingshot: lol, I can *kind of* see that now. I guess it helps to know how people speak irl to understand poorly written text.

enjoy: leekissesme: maybe she’s joking! But I feel like it’s in poor taste to post on someone’s happy status like that. There’s no lol or otherwise modern day use of expression in her comment. (Sad that is my guideline to judge).
i guess I took it seriously because all of her status updates are negative and casting shade on her family and friends.
It would be a good Segway to maybe message me “hey what’s up?” Or laugh about it or whatever the case may be?

Slingshot: ….the fact that she is from Jamaica is irrelevant.
I don’t even understand what she is saying?
Block and delete!
Slingshot: she’s just one of those whiney entitled everyone must like me types igonre it delete the comment delete her no use for these type of ppl in ur life

Meh, its not really a rude comment, and if you put stuff out there on social media, don’t be surprised when people comment in ways you hadn’t expected. It’s a little rude to be reminding people of the fact that youre having a wedding and they’re not invited, in the first place. So it kind of follows that someone might be a little salty there.

pinkshoes: LOL just spat at my screen when i read your comment. i was doing the same thing. i have no idea what that entire conversation was about. none of it makes sense at all. OP……PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSE reply with :
“yes not invited, havent seen you in years. love florida. i put me i in wedding, and i going good put it *wink wink* or some nonscensical crapola like that.
