By taking the last can of Cream of Mushroom Soup!!! NO GREEN BEAN CASSAROLE FOR YOU!
Seriously, what’s the deal with the grocery store right now….you’d think the Lindberg Baby was in there the way people are fluttering around looking for slivered almonds and canned pumpkin..

@Nona99: I forgot something at the grocery store yesterday. I am dreading going back today. It felt like a cage fight in some aisles yesterday, and I’m pretty sure I narrowly avoided about 100 accidents in the parking lot.
God I don’t want to go back today. *cries*

@Nona99: Last year, the store I work out actually ran out of pumpkin in October. There was some crazy pumpkin shortage and we couldn’t get it in. It was horrible. This is the worst time of the year to work in grocery. Between holidays and snow storm scares, it is way to busy for my tastes.

Hoping my last minute list of forgotten items (jalapenos, bacon, oranges, and ginger root) will be easy to get. Might pick up a pie or side item too just in case.
I can’t believe they are out of cream of mushroom soup! The stores by my house sell like 5 different types of cream of mushroom.

It took me forever to find dried sage (instead of ground sage which was still pretty scarce)… I finally found it after going to walmart, target, winn dixie, publix, and FINALLY world market… and I took the last bottle… I’m still paranoid I forgot something, but I think I got the rest of it early this am at Target.

@arsing89: One of the teachers I was working with last year was complaining last year around Halloween how he had to drive around EVERYWHERE to find a pumpkin because everyone was out (and it was a week prior to Halloween!!). I think he ended up driving to a walmart an hour away to grab one of the last ones.

I totally forgot horseradish for my homemade cocktail sauce…luckily Mr. 99 was up bright and early to hit the store before anyone else was even THINKING of getting up to pick up what I forgot and dog food since I looked like a wet, rumpled paper sack when I got home last night…I was a little tragic and some old lady rammed the backs of my legs with her cart….I’m limpin like an old nag today.

I feel like people were driving extra out of control and aggressive last night. I had to go pick up dessert last night from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it was scary…. hopfully I will get off work early so I can hightail it home and avoid everyone lol

*shudder* lines just on the street for cars to go to the grocery store are ridiculous. I’m just walking over to the corner mart for the whipped cream and brownie mix I forgot.

Shit… I have to go grocery shopping tonight and didn’t even think about Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I was sad when I went to the store yesterday and they were out of Bob Evan’s mashed sweet potatoes, I use them in my sweet potato casserole. I was able to find some at a different store, but they are not the same brand. I’m hoping they are just as good!

I ran to Whole Foods this morning to get Mr. Gobbles… he’s currently hiding in my company fridge. 🙁
Dreading heading back to the grocery to pick up all the random items I need!

I am on my way to pick up the last few things I forgot. My only hope is that I live in a yuppy area and I hope most of my neighbors left for the holiday.

Went out to pick up a few last minute things last night, unfortunately one of them was sherry and apparently it has too high of analcohol content so they wouldn’t sell it to me after 9 pm. Il hoping for a quick in and out after work today, since I bought everything else, but well see how crazy the store is
