Has anyone tried only running for weight loss? Has it worked? I have good muscle tone, so am not looking for anymore muscle, just need to shed fat, and I see these runners at 5am with amazing bodies! thanks girls!

Running only is not going to work. You need to change what you eat as well

Also, be careful on running. I used to be a runner myself but stopped for fear of screwing up my knees in the long-term. I’ve heard so many horror stories on what it can do to your joints, specifically knees.
If you have access to an elliptical, I’d probably try that first — particularly if you have a lot of weight to lose. Significantly less impact but same benefit of getting your heartrate up/calorie burning zone.

You know how they say that milk is part of a well rounded diet? Think of running as a part of a well rounded work out plan. If you want to be successful at losing the weight and keeping it off, you’ve got to do more than just run. Toning your muscles, stretching, pilates, that stuff is all great for you and will turn you into an overall healthier person.
And I agree that running is really hard on your joints and you should try to elliptical!
