beepbopboopitydo :  Yes, I ran into an ex a few years later. He had grown a beard and I didn’t recognize him when he spoke to me.

I ran into my ex at the grocery store with his gf, who is 22 years younger than him. I left him a vm asking if he was going to marry her or adopt her. Couldn’t resist cool

My ex hid behind a pillar when we saw him. My Darling Husband and I couldn’t stop laughing. He treated me like crap in the end so I think he was scared ☺

We saw DH’s ex-fiance at a music festival. It was the first time they’d seen each other in 5ish years…they both made a weird face and she kept walking. It was amazingly awkward!

I did run into a woman that rejected Darling Husband and was happy to brag. Darling Husband is a catch and she missed out.

I once ran into an ex literally. I was at a bar, meeting my current bf at the time (now another ex) so I was looking around the place as I walked. I had my head turned to the side and walked straight ahead into someone. I went to apologize and SURPRISE it was my ex.

Lol he ended up following me around for a while and did not pick up on the fact that I was seeing someone else and actually asked one of our other friends if he could get my number again. Apparently he deleted it out of anger when I dumped him but he thought we could rekindle since I bumped into him. My friend laughed and said no.

I ran into my ex – we split in 2004 – and his 3 daughters at an indoor playground with my kiddos about a month ago. I knew it would happen eventually as we live in neighboring towns and I’ve run into his dad, his mom, and one of his sisters. I saw him first so was able to compose myself for a quick second before I said hi. He didn’t recognize me at first but then was so flustered, he just started talking and telling me his kids names and ages, and then started complaining about his “oops baby” when I said, “Wow, you have 3 girls, and a brand new one”. It was pretty funny. I didn’t feel awkward but I was glad our respective SOs weren’t there as we played with our kids in the same space for about an hour or so and kept sort of crossing paths. Oh, and he’s completely tatted up now…arms, legs, etc, which I thought was interesting since he got his first tattoo the day I filed for divorce.
