I ran into my ex’s new girlfriend about a year after we split. She recognized me and talked to me the whole way home.

A couple of years later I walked bythat ex but he did the pretend not to see me.

I’ve never seen any other ex-boyfriend.

HAHAHAHA! I am mortified about this, but one time I ran into my ex at a bookstore. He was still into me and I was seeing someone else, but I was so embarrassed because I get tense around exes, so when I said goodbye, I kissed him on the cheek! Neither of us knew what to do, so we just stared at each other for awhile, and then he just got in his car and drove away. Later that day he texted me how he still loves me, but I wasn’t having it. So freaking awkward.

beepbopboopitydo :

One of my exes lives in midtown Toronto, very busy and trendy location.. I live just north of it (like 1.5 miles maybe) This is my FI’s apartment And he got it days before we met..  And i do most of my shopping and running around there or that one way or another I pass by or through that area.. in the last 5 years.. I have ran into my Ex at least 3 times by myself and 2 times with my Fiance. It is awkward AF. And gives me this weird anxiety… i hate it so much! Makes me wanna yell GTFO of my neighborhood  LOL😂

beepbopboopitydo :  Thanks. It’s a simple phrase that covers most situations. Ex was a friend of the family and he and my Grandmother were friends. I thought it was nice of him to come.

We ran into an ex of mine when we stopped to look at furniture once. I said nothing and the ex said nothing (I don’t know if he recognized me, but I think he did), as he was the salesman. Darling Husband knew nothing about it, and asked if they had recliners with extendable foot rests because he’s tall (6’8″). The ex/salesman suggested one and said it worked for him and that he was taller than Darling Husband and then came to stand next to Darling Husband. And… he wasn’t taller (I could have told him that before he tried to show him up). It was a funny situation. We left without making a purchase.

My SO and I went to a park to walk around and eat a picnic lunch on our 3rd date. We passed a guy by the river running through the park and he said “Excuse me, but could one of you please take a picture for me?” I said “sure” . He handed me his camera and I realized that the two of us had dated 10 years before when we were in high school. It was immediately awkward for me. He asked about my dad and my brothers and how I was doing, etc. He was a really nice guy and we had parted amicably, but I was mortified because that is the WORST impression to make on a brand new boyfriend!

My ex left me for a mutual friend, and a few years after breaking up, we both (with our new partners) bought houses in a new development, right around the corner from each other. We run in to each other all the time. We even had the same possession date and our key pickup appointment at the developers office was at the same time. Then, we ended up having babies 10 days apart, so yeah, saw a whole bunch more of them at play-dates etc.

slomotion :  Be polite. Smile on the outside. That way she can never say anything bad about you. Smile on the inside with the knowledge that if he cheated on you with her, statistics say he will do it with somebody else  to her. Revenge is sweet!

My ex’s current girlfriend lives in my gated community so I’ve seen his car and I’ve seen him driving a couple of times.

Best part, when I was 12 weeks pregnant, I got sick and had a fever so I went to the Hospital. She was my triage nurse. I recognized her right away, she may or may not have recognized me. I’m pretty sure she did. She was really sweet and actually super nice so I’m not mad lol.

He cheated on me and we were living together so idk how I’d react if we bumped into each other somewhere. I’m sure it’s bound to happen. My life turned around and shortly after that jackass screwed me over, I met my husband of 3 years and we have a beautiful baby girl so I’m more than happy that guy did what he did lol. Maybe I’ll give him a hug and say thank you hahaha
