I was wondering if anyone had visited Filenes running of the brides event? Tell me about your experience please. Was it terrible, awesome, not worth it, or totally worth it? I would love to get a great savings on my gown. Also, I would love to go this year, but I am having trouble findind a schedule. Does anyone have a link for it? When I was searching for something else the other day, I came across the schedule, and now it is nowhere to be found (of course).

Oh MY God! I thought I heard that a while ago, but I thought maybe I made it up in my head or something. Figures that I finally get engaged and they go out of buisness.

Oh wow, I didn’t know they went out of business!
I was at RoB in Atlanta last year, and IMO, you’re not missing out. I did the whole camping out, mad dash, and fending off crazy women thing… not my cup of tea. The prices were great, but the dresses seemed either outdated or not in the best condition (missing beads, smudges… nothing that couldn’t be repaired or removed)… just my experience in Atlanta. It may have been different in other cities. I ended up purchasing a gown I didn’t love just because I didn’t want to leave empty-handed after all that work. I later sold the dress and bought one I did love.
