You did such a great job! I love all the diy, the two licenses is adorable, I had to laugh, and the dessert tablecloth is gorgeous, I got one just like it for my vintage rental business.

This is what I used. It worked well. I just wasn’t a fan of the knot they show in the link they give you to the original tutorial (that is the one I actually went by vs the one in the link which shows stuff better).
I had a $10,000 budget which I was hoping could include accomodations for my hubby and bridal party. Unfortunately if we include that we went over because they were more than expected. Without that we did a wedding for approx 100 people (with food left over for about 5 days plus) for $10,143.00. However, we did a $2.00 bar, which is very common in Canada and I have never even seen an open bar (I believe our liquor license specifies you have to sell drinks for a minimum of $2.00 in fact). So our booze was just over $1100.00 and we made $935.00 on the bar, plus we gave away beer and liquor as thank you gifts and there is still a lot left over. And I am selling off my decorations and have over $400.00 sold already with more to go! So all together that brings our costs to about $8800!
This doesn’t include our rings, honeymoon or my makeup from Sephora. I put off buying make up for a year leading up to the wedding so I needed a bunch, and rings are a lifetime thing so I choose not to include them.

Sephora was amazing I did a PBA 45 min consultation which you have to buy a giftcard for to guarantee you spend like $125.00. You will spend a lot on make-up doing it but I made a point to not buy much a year before the wedding then got brand new stuff just for the wedding. I learnt how to apply it and the steps to doing it. Couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out!
Yay! Would like to see your picture after the wedding :). When are you getting married or did you already?
Haha it was totally an old one my mom had in her closet ;).
Thanks! I was nervous about the wheatgrass but I did a test run and then just went for it. Was happy with the results!

i bought the netting off etsy and found a hairband i really liked from a clothing store. we first pinned it then stitched it on afterwards. it took a few times to get it to sit right. go to a bridal salon and get some ideas then diy it! mine was $16.00 vs $100.00+ when i looked.
haha and thanks! I think he is pretty darn cute too. my dad couldn’t believe he didn’tshave for the wedding. I like a bit of scruff :).

I actually made it because I didn’t really like anything I found in stores and didn’t want something blingy.
Thanks everyone for the comments! Couldn’t be happier with the way it all turned out :), it was exactly as I hoped. Minus a few hiccups of course.

Do you still have the tassels from above the dessert table and is it for sale?
