I’m going to have a candy buffet at my wedding which has a rustic theme. I don’t feel like the typical glass jars really fit, so I was trying to find something like wooden bowls or another option. Does anyone have any ideas or websites? Thanks!

You could try to find some old style flour, sugar, coffee, tea canisters. I suggest estate sales and/or thrift stores.

I was going to suggest tea tins too!

You could also use small wooden crates. Ones that would be similar to what fruit are put in.

You could do glass jars a la Charlie and the Chocolate Factory….remember the ones on the counter in the candy store?

I think old mason jars would be really cute!

I would do some wicker baskets, mason jars and maybe some vintage teal or colored vases or bowls

You could do a combination of things which I think will look more rustic. Instead of having JUST glass jars, you can do a combination of glass jars, apothecary jars, wicker baskets, wooden boxes, and small hat boxes. Even cute flower pots would work if you are doing lollipops. I plan to use a couple of flowerpots and use some floral foam and easter grass to make it look interesting.

All the suggested items are great finds at second hand stores flea markets and yard sales! I found the flower vases for my Alter arrangements for $2.50 at the Goodwill. I couldnt beleive it. My mom was telling me not to rush out and buy everything new when you are trying to budget. Some things you can find are brand new! Especially if you are going with the rustic look you can find great things.
