Hey Bee’s… we were originally planning on getting married in New Husband but we are thinking if we can find a venue on the Cape it will be a lot more convenient. We want rustic/natural/non-nautical.
Places I know of are Edgewood Farm in Truro, Bourne Farm in Falmouth, Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich, and Coonamessett Farm in Falmouth.
Can anyone share experiences with any of the above venues or suggest other ones???
Thanks for any info in advance!!

I’ve never been to a wedding at Coonamessett, but I used to eat there/go apple/veggie picking when I lived in Falmouth in grad school. It is really beautiful and the food is great! There are a lot of hidden places around Woods Hole that you could do a small ceremony at, too – The Knobb, the beach by the bike path, etc. Look into that if you are having a smaller gathering – would be a lovely ceremony location by the water, and then the reception at the farm.

Although I haven’t had experiences with the vendors, I love Bourne farm. I do know that they only do a couple of weddings a year though, so book early! Good luck!

If you are at all interested in Martha’s Vineyard, Sailing Camp Park looks rustic: http://www.oakbluffsma.gov/index.cfm?pid=10307
There is also a place called the Overbrook House in Buzzard’s Bay: http://www.overbrookhouse.com/
