Good question, I want the same thing!  I think slightly messy wildflowers are an amazing look.  We’re doing mason jars anyway cause I’ve always used them for vases and we have a gazillion of them from canning.

Our reception will also be in a barn, and I am also trying to avoid too many things that have been overdone.  For my centerpieces, we’re using simple wooden baskets and filling them with green apples. It’s rustic country without the mason jars. Although I will be doing a burlap runner with eggplant purple tablecloths 🙂

I think birch wood vases are so pretty for rustic themed weddings.
