I need your HELP! I am getting married in August an was originally planning a outdoor rustic garden themed wedding. Our ceremony and reception were both going to be in a outdoor setting but some unexpected circumstnces have forced us to now have our wedding in a ballroom. Im stressing out because I orginally wanted to use a lot of burlap and lace in my wedding decor, but now that I am in a ballroom im not sure if that would be apropriate. I cant change my color scheme, because my bridesmaids have already bought their dresses. My colors are pastel purple, pastel pink, and pastel yellow for a garden theme and then I was going to tie in the burlap and lace for thr rustic feel. Now that the location has changed to a ballroom though I feel like its all going to clash. Anyone have any ideas for how to bring my theme in to the ballroom? HELp! 🙁

I don’t know anything about your budget, but you could certainly turn your ballroom into a garden-y type space by bringing in lots of florals, trees and vines.
If that’s out of your budget I would suggest changing your theme to rustic-something else [vintage, shabby chic, romance], you wouldn’t need to change your colors.

I think it depends on how ornate your ballroom is, but your colours would still work. If you were thinking of mixing the burlap with lace that gives it a slightly more formal and feminine feel which could work quite nicely.
Not sure if this helps, but we’re having our reception in a hotel ballroom that’s very corporate looking. We’re using green draping on the ceiling to try and make it look like the room is under one big tree. I think there’s lots of options for bringing the garden inside, like the PP suggested. It might not be exactly what you were planning before but could still give you the feel you’re going for.
