I went to this place for a wedding last year I think it was, and it was wonderful.  The food was good too.  The ceremony was outside, and  the reception in this big beautiful barn.  I don’t know about he cost, but, I enjoyed it.  Something to check out.

nchamula:  How’s the hunt going? I know couldn’t find a fall 2015 date when I was engaged in November.

Don’t know if you want Toronto? If you don’t mind the city I have a couple of places for you to check out!

-Evergreen Brickworks
-Steamwhistle (not outdoors but rustic setting still – for summer weddings they don’t book on days the Blue Jays play, so you may have to be on a wait list until the MLB schedule is released)
-Miller Lash House in Scarborough – they have a tent on-site as well if you want outdoors

Not barns, necessarily – but check them out and let me know if it helps! 🙂

nchamula:   In the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area there are a few options. There is Steckle Family Farm, The Slit Barn, and Grey Silo (not a barn but very rustic).

Good luck with your search!

Cambium Farms is beautiful, I looked into that venue as well.

Check out Holland Marsh Winery! That’s where we chose as our venue, although getting a Saturday date in 2016 might be hard. When we booked ours last May for this coming Septmber, a lot of Saturdays were already filled up.
