We got married at George Ranch in 2008. It was just $1,000 for the ceremony! Definitely check it out, we really liked it and there’s a lot to choose from (even a treehouse).

Yeah I’ve heard really good things about George Ranch! There’s also Raven Lodge (in Huntsville State Park), the Houston Arboretum, the Orchard at Caney Creek (may be too expensive, not sure if your $2000 includes the cost of food), Hermann Park or any other park, and a lot of other ideas on the Knot’s Houston board if you check there 🙂

Hello! There is a rustic/vintage venue in the Heights area of Houston. It is a restored fire station, really pretty. Hardwood floors, art deco lighting, and the original pole is still there! No sliding down it though. It rents according to how far in advance you book (weird, I know) The middle of the road rental price is $1700 for an all day Saturday wedding.

We just found another great spot this weekend! Shot a wedding at the Houston Arboretum. For a small deck, it was just $500! A larger one was $1000. Gorgeous and cheap, and although our couple had the reception elsewhere, they do host receptions as well. The coordinator and staff were so super accommodating and nice, too! They drove us all around the property in their little golf carts so that we could take photos where the bride wanted. Very cool! I highly recommend it!
