    I voted for succulents because I’ve gotten a bunch of candles from weddings and I never know what to do with them!  Sorry I don’t have any other ideas other than food!

    Donate to a charity . maybe on the guest table you can have everyone pick off a list of your choice which charity they want the money to go to. Then divy it up.

    I votice succulents, just because I would rather have that over a candle.

    I have tons of candleholders, and having just 1 of a random candleholder would drive me crazy {i like things to be in at least 2’s, or proportionate to each other}

    These are our succulents from our wedding that we gave as favors. Everyone loved them!

    @babylo0n:  they were super easy to make and all hand made πŸ™‚

    1) log slices – Father-In-Law cut them out of a fallen tree in the back yard (but you can buy them from Michaels for cheap too

    2) Wine bottles – collected them from friends, spray painted them black with regular spray paint then wrote on them with chalk. Stuck candles in the top of them.

    3) Clear wine bottles, printed off quotes we liked and put them in the bottle and tied raffia around the bottle neck.

    4) Little cardboard signs- all printed at home black and white printer and stuck on card. We used these as table names.

    Our wedding was super home made and really cheap. >$3500.

    Good luck!!!

    I’m doing a gourmet popcorn buffet with flavors like pumpkin pie, smores, etc.

    It’s amazing the flavors they have and I’m getting all the popcorn for around $150!

    check out michael’s. it’s not too expensive to buy the log slices and saves a whole lot of work. unless logs are readily available to you. πŸ™‚

    @babylo0n:  Be prepared for a lot of people to leave the succulents behind.
