@Miss Emily Marie:

Well we are big county music fans and sport fans, so we have given up going to concerts this year and no more eating out on wimm…. We have also decided no christmas presents for eachother, just our families!

We actually made one upgrade that has saved us hundreds. We got DVR service and found an incredible list of 100 movies to see before you die. Mr.Owl searches the list each week and DVRs the ‘list movies’. We have made movie night our new date night and haven’t spent money on eating out or dates in ages.

We made our budge back in April. Well Fiance got a new job with a pay increase that allowed him to work from home. He loved his old job and wasn’t quite ready to leave. Working from home has enabled him to move in with me. I work in law enforcement so I get a huge discount for rent at my apt working sort of part-time as their on-site-manager. My rent and all household bills are lower than his rent alone. So that’s a huge savings for us. We don’t go out to eat as much and cut down on our shopping habits.
