Of course. I always donate to my local no-kill shelter, and I will donate some more today in memory of that poor kitty 🙁

As a side note…

Guys, if you have a cat that goes through a sudden personality change, please have its thyroid tested.

And if your cat is using the litterbox more than normal, please have it tested for diabetes, which is common in older, overweight cats. This can also cause the urinary issue, but also have it checked for a UTI.

So many medical things can cause these types of behavior changes.

And if you are not able to clean your litter box religiously, please look into getting one of these: http://www.litter-robot.com/

@inky_1:  Hopefully everyone in this thread knows that but another side note: True tract infections are rare in cats, research FLUTD.  That’s what my poor boy suffers from and I’ll never give up on him <3

Great idea!  I caught the original thread as it was being closed but hopefully we can make some good out of all this.

In addition to donating, I’m doing something else to honor that poor little boy.  When I got home from work today, I grabbed all my kitties (especially the two old ones) and gave them some extra love and treats and swore to them (and to myself) that they will always have a home with me.  Until death do us part.

I invite the rest of you to do the same because you can’t ever give your pets too much love.
