I found out this morning that my wedding venue burnt completely to the ground during the night. I am devastated & I have no idea what is going to happen since my wedding is 3 months out. There is absolutely nothing left of the barn and nothing was able to be salvaged. Panic mode begins! 🙁
Has this happened to any of ya’ll?

Holy crap!! Was everybody ok?

oh my goodness! that sucks so bad, i hope everyone is ok!
I know there have been other brides on the boards that have had something happen where they needed a new venue and quick, just start searching – hopefully they will be able to help you!
Perhaps your venue will find something to offer you in lieu of their venue? Maybe they have a brother/sister property or someone they work with often?

Oh my gosh… that is sad news.
My first Wedding (circa 1980) and our Wedding Venue went Bankrupt and closed its doors without warning less than a month before our Date.
Thankfully my tireless Father, got the word out, and a family friend helped him to find another location for our Reception (sponsored him at his Club).
In the end it all turned out better than I had dreamed…
So hopefully something great will happen for you too. Get the word out ASAP…
Hope this helps,
PS… We had to have Reception Cards printed immediately upon fiinding a NEW Location, as our Invites were out, and the RSVPs all back. We mailed out the Local ones. For OOTs we handed them out at the Wedding Ceremony with Directions to the NEW Venue. It all worked out.

oh my gosh! I’m so sorry! Try to research new venues ASAP as hard as that may be 🙁

@britt821: I’m so sorry this happened to you! Maybe you could try posting in the local boards to see if any Tennessee brides could recommend places for you?

We share the same date, so i can understand your panic mode! I wish you the best of luck finding a new place. My goodness!! I hope that the first venue contacts you and hopefully can point you in another direction.

thanks everyone for the advice and support. no one was hurt thankfully, and they still aren’t sure what exactly happened. unfortunately, they do not have any sister properties, so I’m just going to give them a week or so and see what they plan on doing. fingers crossed everything works out smoothly! 🙂
