I brought my ring to the jewelers to be re-set so it fits flush with my wedding band two weeks ago, and based on the jeweler’s pattern of calling and/or giving me updates once a week, I was totally expecting the final product to be ready today…
Much to my dismay, I called (even thought I’m supposed to wait for them to call me) to check in and was told it would be another week….ugh! I know these are first-world problems, but I never thought I’d be so sad (and impatient!!!) about not having my e-ring.
I can’t buy a stand-in of any sort bc my ring size is 3.5 (more first world problems, I know:-/ but man do I want my ring back. Anyone else getting impatient about such a thing?

I know the feeling!! I was in agony when I sent mine to Blue Nile to get a new setting and it was at the mercy of the USPS (Chicago branches at that!!) It will be here before you know it. Look online for a stand in for the future, for when you may need to take it in to be re-rhodium plated, etc. It can take just 2-3 days to get one from amazon or ebay. A lot of pinky rings fit a 3.5. I know because I looked at Claire’s for myself.

We dropped off my ring with the jeweler last week so he could make a mold of it to make a matching wedding band, and all week I felt so weird not wearing it. I didn’t think it would bother me at all but I missed wearing it…I felt so naked without it!
