- Wedding: December 2013
I posted last week that Fiance and I had discovered a site called Safe Ringz.
Fiance is in the military and can’t wear a wedding band. I didn’t care, he did. He wanted to wear one. Because he works with electronics, he could get burnt or electrocuted.
We eventually found these, which were 6 bucks. I said that I would post a review of them once I receieved them in the mail.
Here it is!
I ordered 2 colours of the rings.
14k light gold and Platinum coloured. Fiance is small, and wasn’t sure what his ring size was. We ordered 2 of each ring, so 4 total. The rings on my fingers are the size “6/7.” Fiance ended up needing the “8/9.”
Here is the small catch.
One, the size 6/7 fits perfectly on my finger. If I downsized, it would not have fit me. My Engagement Ring is a 5 3/4 (or 5.75). That is my forewarning- they are sized small.
My second issue is that the platinum isn’t the nicest. I was impressed with the 14k yellow gold, but not the platinum. Thankfully the rings are only $6 each, so it wasn’t a waste of money.
I’ll summarize with a basic list of Pros and Cons:
- fast shipping (about 7 business days)
- the 14k yellow gold is nice
- it’s silicone, non-conductive, and safe. electricians can wear them. the site elaborates on that.
- sized small
- platinum looked like crap! (IMHO)
