I tried on this lovely dress last weekend – and have not been able to stop thinking about it since! I became distracted by trying Monique Lhullier’s Sonnet (another fantastic gown), but I am beginning to get the feeling that Jacinda is ‘the one’ as I can’t keep picturing myself getting married in it! A good sign, for sure ๐Ÿ™‚

For those of you who have purchased the gown, what types of undergarments are you planning on wearing, given the sheerness of the back? Is the seamstress able to sew cups into the slip? Or are you planning to use a NuBra? I’m petite – 5″4, but a busty 34DD. As I said, I was so dazzled by Sonnet I wasn’t able to query the sales associate or seamstress about the workaround. I most defintely need some ‘oomph’ in order for the dress to look flattering on me, otherwise I just look ‘top heavy.’

Any insight any of you gals might have would be greatly appreciated. I’m hesitant to call the salon as I’m wary of them saaying anything in order to sway me to make a purchase.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

has anyone considered a veil for this dress? Not sure if tulle on bottom and top would be too much? Any photos would be great!

Beautiful dress. I tried it on! I will attach a pic for you, since I know I love seeing other photos of my dress too haha. I really loved the dress, and I think it could look so lovely with soft, romantic styling, maybe a bohemian headband, etc.

Keep in mind the dress did not fit me correctly at all! Although I still think it looks pretty ๐Ÿ™‚

I also went with the amaretto slip.  It’s subtle, but definitely adds a little brown coloring to the skirt.  What color bridesmaid dresses are you doing?
