I had a question for anyone who has ever looked at or purchased a saja wedding dress. I’m in love with their 2013 collection (especially LD6015), but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a wedding dress as I’m living on a graduate student’s budget. I don’t want to contact the store because I don’t want to feel completely rejected if it’s out of my price range, so does anyone know how much dresses typically run at this store?
Also, here’s a link to the collection if anyone is curious: http://www.sajawedding.com/collection_2013.html
I was also considering commissioning a similar one if it’s really out of range. Anyone have any experience with this?

We tried their bridesmaids dresses; they were in the $200-300 range. Like the maids dresses, the bridal dresses have very little structure – they are basically slightly more embellished, white/ivory versions of the maids dresses. Based on that I would be shocked if they came in above $1K. If they do, they are insanely overpriced IMO.
I will warn you that based on our experience, service at the store is appalling and then owner is a complete beyotch. It’s a long boring story but basically we walked out.

Apparently, most dresses are under $1800.
@geekspice: It seems Mrs. Pashmina’s experience wasn’t much better either service-wise. (http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/09/14/bohemian-wedding-dresses/#axzz2PMVcfwIZ)

I went to the store and tried on a number of dresses. I was looking to spend up to $1500 and don’t think anything was out of my price range.
I thought the service was fine but decided the dresses weren’t really my style.

I seriously considered moving my winter wedding to spring or summer after my visit to Saja. I love the way the Saja dresses fit – light, breezy and so flattering. When I tried them on most were under $1000 – I don’t know if that’s negotiable but it might be…
I thought the store owner was very nice – she was helpful and not pushy at all.
