Here’s my situation: I am having my hair and make up done before the wedding at a salon and I’m picking up the tab to have my three bridesmaids get their hair done too. I’m doing a test hair run a couple weekends before the wedding.
When I set up the test run, they had to change around the people doing the hair because of when I was coming in for the run, which is not a problem. Now, the woman doing my hair for the test run is the salon owner, and I would assume she is also doing my hair for the wedding too. Since she is the owner, do I tip her either time?
Also, when my bridesmaids get their hair done, do I run around handing tips to all the stylists who worked on their hair? I’m not sure how many there will be. Can i just give a bulk tip to someone at the counter and ask them to distribute it? If so, do I include work done by the salon owner when I figure out the tip?
Thanks for your advice in advance.
