In my recent planning of my wedding and discussing colors and such with my mom tonight she pointed out that in my first wedding I used the color coral. I had not even thought about this because, mainly, I a not thinking about my first marriage in planning this one. I also had not thought about it because my colors this time are coral, hot pink and yellow and in my first wedding they were shades of peach, off white and gold. My mom said she thought it was a little wierd to have the same colors but I really dont think so because the color combinations are different and well EVERYONE who knows me knows that peach is favorite color. Anyone else think that it may be too similar?

If you love them, I don’t see a problem with it. Some people are (IMO) too superstitious about these things. The color combo for this one sounds very cheery, bright and fun!

Just because the first marriage ended doesn’t mean you still don’t have the same favorite color! Your favorite color then is your favorite color now and I think that’s great and you should definitely incorporate it.

I think that color combination sounds very pretty, and bright together! It doesn’t matter if you have one color the same as your first wedding, no one will remember besides you. And you obviously love it so go for it.

I ran into the same problem. I love green and my first wedding was “Irishy”. I did go with a totally different color combo, but I feel like yours is totally fine. You’re going to a whole different palette, and only one color is the same. No one but you and your mohter will notice anyways!

I think it’s totally fine. If you love the colour use it. I think the feel of your palettes are completely different

No big deal! I’m guessing it wasn’t the wedding colours that caused the end of the marriage, right? 😉
The colours sound pretty and also different from your previous wedding. Go for it!

Unless the wedding was like, last year, nobody will know!
