Lol, kind of…

But really, it’ll look different on you, your FI isn’t going to be able to tell unless he’s a fashionisto…and if she’s invited, she’ll probably notice, but who cares?

@marie2006:  Take a deep breath and then go rock that gown! Who cares if it is the same because TONS of people fall in love with the same dress, thats how designers make money! I am sure she will take it as a compliment and that you FI won’t recognize it (come on he ia a guy!). However, if he does recognize it then I am sure he will be proud that his girl is wearing it better 🙂

You found the dress and it is entirely yours! Differen’t body, different story, different wedding

@marie2006:  Don’t worry about it! Your FI won’t notice, I guarantee it. The other girl might, but if she’s a good friend then she won’t care!

I would feel the same, BUT you say you love the dress so just keep it. It’s not like it was the only one made especially for the other lady.

What is the gown? Maybe bees can suggest something very  similar but different?

I doubt your FI will notice. They are all just long white dresses to the guys anyway Laughing

If you feel beautiful in it, you will look gorgeous. That is all that matters. If that dress is the one, you will just have to wear it (and rock it)

Everydress looks different on different people.

Honestly I doubt anyone will notice, especially since the weddings are so far apart.  Unless you’re copying a custom gown, no one really “owns” the dress design.

@marie2006:  I don’t think you need to be worried, because like other people have said, the same dress can look very different on different people, but maybe you can change a few details eg. wear a different sash, use different accessories etc
