my bridal shower is this saturday. on sunday, my family has decided to throw me a “family shower”– which is basically a family party celebrating the wedding.
it just hit me today that i would probably want to look nice for these and i went to anthro and picked this up
im thinking of wearing it as is to my bridal shower, and then wearing it the next day to the family shower with a little white cardi over it. the only overlap of guests would be my mom and sister and they wouldnt care.
is it weird? on one hand i care, but on the other hand HELLO i need to save money as much as i can..

Wear it to both. The cardigan will change it up. Just make sure it’s clean, and smells fresh for the next day. You will proably be hugging a lot of people if your family is like mine.

I wouldn’t. The dress is cute! What if it gets dirty, would you have something else to wear? I usually space out my outfits by at least 2-3 weeks, so I wouldn’t wear the same dress two days in a row.

I don’t think it’s a big deal, but changing up the shoes and accessories would definitely help to change the look.

Think about pictures. People are gonna know you wore it twice. Suck it up and buy another outfit lol

I wore the same dress to my shower and my rehearsal. Yes, you can notice that I wore the same dress to two events, but I’m the type of person who likes to save money vs looking like I don’t wear the same clothes all the time.
My concern with planning on wearing the same dress two days in a row would be that it would get dirty. I totally dropped a strawberry down the front of my white, dry clean only shower dress on a Saturday. If I’d been counting on wearing it on Sunday, I would have been a little screwed.

That dress is SO cute!!!! I don’t know though…maybe splurge on another dress? It’s for two special events.

@xshellx2003: Why does it matter? =/
OP – It’s a cute dress, and you can make it look pretty different just by changing up your accessories.
