I’m pretty sure my mind is made up but I wanted some neutral opinions! My dress is Midgely and Sottero style Gigi. Here’s me in the same dress, one with the sleeves and one with them tucked in. What do you think? The strapless version will have a slightly deeper v.

emorelia: I really really love the strapless version of the dress!

Oooh, hard! I think both look beautiful and it’s really a personal choice as to which you like more! Personally I am a sucker for illusion necklines, but either way would look gorgeous.

I love illusion necklines, but I think I like the strapless on you a bit better!

I vote strapless version – I think it looks better against the full skirt.

I love it with the illusion neckline! It has a real wow-factor impact on me. Whatever you choose, though, will be beautiful.

emorelia: I love the straps, it gives the dress something extra. It makes it feel more vintage, more regal. Very pretty dress 🙂

Wow the skirt on your dress is beautiful! I also love the straps a little bit more compared to the strapless, but the dress looks gorgeous either way

I think it depends what overall look you are going for with your whole wedding.
I like both… The illusion neck definitely has a touch of vintage about it (especially with the gloves) and looks more unusual. The strapless has a more modern, fairytale feel…

I won’t be wearing the gloves, the bridal shop just had me wear them 🙂
My problem is with the straps because I have a short torso it doesn’t sit right – there’s something slightly off about it.
Here’s a bigger pic of the skirt with the straps tucked in (excuse the mess and the terrible photos, I’ll be wearing a hoop with it like in the bridal shop)

emorelia: I think it’s a lovely dress! But I personally get so sick of strapless. Eeeeeveryone has strapless and aaaaaall the dresses they try on on Say Yes to the Dress are strapless. I LOVE when Kate Middleton got married and she did something different! Go with the illusion neckline! Anyway… ultimately it’ll be up to you. I once put a poll on here and everyone chose B and I ultimately chose C. Lol!

I’m so surprised that I am saying this, because I am not normally a fan of high/illusion/lace necklines like the one on your dress. However, I would choose that look for you with this particular dress. It is extremely flattering to your figure and gives you a long line from your shoulders to your waist, making your torso look leaner and taller and providing greater balance for the fullness of the ball gown skirt. It’s a beautiful dress.

I am shocked I am going to say this too. I like the illusion neckline on you better. Both look amazing on you (lucky duck), but I like that the illusion neckline is different. I have never seen it with a full skirt before so it doesn’t blend in with other strapless styles.

Strapless looks so pretty on you!
