I think this all has to do with attitudes. Luckily, my husband has no complex about his height. We’re both totally fine being the same height. And I wear heels anyway, if I want to 🙂

I’m 5’10” and my SO is 6’1″, the only time it bothers me is that my head is at such an awkward angle if I want to rest my head on his shoulder. I wear heels pretty frequently. 🙂

I’m 5’6 and SO is about 5’7. He’s the first man I’ve dated who is close to my height and I love it! Makes kissing easier, makes it easy for me nuzzle my face in the crook of his neck when we hug… it’s perfect! I dont wear heels often because I just dont find them comfortable, but if I do, neither of us have any issue with it.

This makes me think about my parents! My mom is 5’5 and my dad 5’7. Considering the fact that he’s Chinese he’s not even that small, it’s quite an average height there. My mom doesn’t feel awkward about it, she never wears heels in the first place because they’re so uncomfortable.

I’m 5’4 myself and my boyfriend is 6’3. When we started dating five years ago I kind of thought I HAD to wear heels because of the height difference. But a few years ago I came to the conclusion that it doesn’t really matter. (And I’ve gotten a bit “lazy” in the meantime, lol! No uncomfy heels for me!) Yes, there’s a height difference but we don’t care and it’s nothing too severe as well. 😀 I think as long as you guys are comfortable with it – that’s all that matters!

I am only 5’0″ so almost any guy is “tall” for me.

My husband is about 6’0″ so I can’t kiss him or anything. He has to bend down. One of my previous boyfriends was 6’4″ and while I thought I loved tall guys, it was frustrating that he couldn’t even hear me when I talked! I always had to wear heels or wedges the height difference was so much. So after that, I realized 6’0″ is about as high as I can go!

When I was single I was more drawn towards men who are taller just because I’m on the plumper side and like to feel “small” (if that makes sense……). I did have a thing with a guy who was about the same height, maybe slightly taller, and also went on dates with guys who were the same height…..so I wouldn’t have discounted someone who was the same height or anything like that – I hate heels anyway! I’m on the short side so finding someone shorter than me would have been difficult. My husband is about 6 inches taller than me which is a great height for kissing and whatnot.
