I am really confused to what wedding band I want. I know I want it in platinum as my ering is in platinum. My Ering is an asscher cut center stone (7ct) with round halos (I don’t know the total carats for the halo. I know it’s 32 stones) with a plain shank (2mm). I purposely decided on a plain shank so that I will have a wedding band that is not just plain platinum. I have decided that my wedding band will be 3mm thick in platinum. However, I haven’t made any decisions and I’m very torn on what to go with. These are what I am deciding on:
-3mm platinum channel eternity in princess cut stones
-3mm platinum channel eternity in round cut stones
-3mm platinum channel half eternity in princess cut stones
Fiance said he didn’t care about the prices, so that doesn’t matter in my decision making. If there are any bees out there that have plain shanks with their erings and decided to get stones on their wedding bands, I would really love to see them together to help me out. Thanks!!

@alyciassecret: I personally love plain-shank erings with diamond wedding bands (I’m biased, this is what I have). I think the contrast is gorgeous and really makes the two rings pop.
As for the specific band you should get? Hmm…tough choice, can we see your ring? What shape are the stones on the halo? I would lean towards the half eternity princess cut (i prefer 3/4 eternity, if that’s an option because it’s the best of both worlds…sizability without too much of an issue with spinning) given the information about your ring that you’ve provided, but it’s hard to say without actually seeing your ring!

This is my ring. I have a 4.5 size ring finger.

Does your stone sit up high enough to scoot the wedding band underneath? If not, I’d be concerned about how much farther down you would have to move your e-ring in order to wear a wedding band at the same time.

@lovekiss: Oh yeah, it’s set high enough for a wedding band for sure.

I would get a small (2 mm) micropave (with rounds) band that matches your halo.
