mexicalijennie:  In my experience at the store the sample I tired on was in excellent/like new condition so they weren’t offering any discount. I could probably have haggled them maybe $200 or so but for me it wasn’t worth it (bought it new for $1,100). It really is going to depend on the condition of the dress and the shop. Do you know that they allow for purchasing of samples? Some stores do not, unless it’s in a specific sales/floor section.

I think it depends on the condition of the dress. I bought the sample of a discontinued dress for $399. The original price of it was around $1500. It’s in excellent shape but some of the clear sequins have yellowed quite a bit. 

 

Edited to add: thats a gorgeous dress, and you look stunning in it!
