hi, I am shopping around for a florist for my wedding in New York. I’m wondering how important is it for you to see a sample of your bouquet or center piece BEFORE pulling the trigger with that florist? Some florists gladly supply me with a sample before hand, but they don’t specify what flowers to use at each place (centerpieces, sweetheart table, altar arrangement, cocktail hour etc). While another florist specify every flower that will be used in each place but they don’t provide samples until a couple of months before the wedding.
Thoughts? which one should I go with? I think all are reputable, some parts of me wants to see a sample, but another part understand that if every flower has been specified in the contract, maybe they don’t want to do a sample until closer to the wedding date, in case brides change their minds. Please let me know your experience. Thanks!
