Even though you said you are ordering from Sam’s Club, I am DIYing my own flowers from Bloomsbythebox.com. My cousin used them for her wedding, and the flowers came out gorgeous, so thats why I decided to use them too. I also called and the people were so nice and it is so cheap! Definitely keep your options open. If you do decided to use another company, theres also really good DIY videos I am using from the Bloomsbythebox.com’s website, there is great advice that helped me with my trial run!

But I hope it works out for you 🙂

Everything went really well!  I ordered both the 10 piece and the 17 piece Bright Collection.  That way I had enough Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets and boutineers for our large party without having to do floral centerpieces. The only thing is that I ended up with two bridal bouquets, but I just picked out the ‘better’ one to use.

I did my homework by printing and reading over their info packet, so I had purchased a fridge thermometer from amazon and set my fridge to the right temp.  I bought buckets at the Dollar Tree for the bouquets.

I had them delivered Thursday morning for my Saturday wedding, and the estimate of being between 8 am and noon for a city was correct.  I got two email confirmations with UPS tracking numbers Thursday morning around 8:45, and I greeted the UPS guy around 10 am.

The flowers were beautiful!  They came packaged very securely in two large boxes.  They were wrapped in tissue paper around the flowers themselves, and the stems were wrapped in an ivory ribbon with those pearl pins.  I got to work unpacking everything, using the included clippers to trim the stems, and putting it all away.

By Saturday the flowers had opened up a bit and looked beautiful.  I put them back in the tissue paper and into the box again to travel to the hotel where my girls and I were getting ready.  I asked the girls to remove any stray wilted petals and that was that!

I do wish the bridal bouquet was a little bigger, but that was my one complaint.  I could’ve unwrapped the other one and added more to it, but that would’ve been way over my head.

I think Sam’s Club is a great option for someone like me; I knew I wanted fresh flowers for the bridal party but I had a smaller budget and ZERO DIY skills.   We were able to cover the 5 Groomsmen and 6 Bridesmaid or Best Man, me and the groom, and then of course the FOB and FOG, MOB and MOG, Grandparents, step-parents, etc.  We had plenty for everyone and two boxes of flower petals.  With the $40 Sams membership, under $20 for the buckets and thermometer, and then $583 for all the flowers, I was overjoyed at everything.

Here’s a close up pic of my bouquet. I ripped off that random broken green bud.  And then below that is our sweetheart table.  All of my BM’s put there’s on our table, along with a decorative brooch bouquet that I borrowed from my sister for decor.

@sugarlily:  Do you have any other photos?  That is the collection I plan on using!  Also, were there many flower petals?  We are having more than one flower girl and wanted to know if there would be enough.

@meke:  I do but they are over weddingbee’s size limit!  Advice?  I’m a bit of a newb at posting pics.  They were beautiful.  Made my one bedroom apartment smell wonderful. 🙂

Since I ordered both the 10 and the 17 piece, I ended up with 2 boxes of petals.  There was a pretty good amount, but I guess it depends on how much your girls throw and the length of your aisle.  I’d estimate the size to be the clear plastic size of a strawberry contanier.  Probably 7 inches long by 4 or 5 inches wide and 4 or 5 inches tall?  They were rose petals.

You could always look at them when they get delivered and go to a grocery store or a Whole Foods or whatever and buy more if you’re nervous there wouldn’t be enough.  Any other questions feel free to ask away!

@sugarlily:  Thanks for the response!  I was in love with the collection and have appreciated those that have left feedback on Sams with pictures – some have looked different than others, but for the most part, right on with the pictures.  I think yours have been the best that I have seen!  I really hope the collection is still around for me next year!  I plan on getting the 17 piece as well.

Thanks for that, I think that will be enough petals, typically girls like to throw some but not all of their flowers away!

I have a microsoft picture manager, which I can resize pictures on my own, I’m not exactly sure how else to do it.  I know on Kevin’s computer he can right click on the picture in the folder where it is save, and have the option to edit it and resize it that way.  Otherwise, I am not sure.  If you can’t, would you mind me messaging you with my email for you to send them to me there?
