If you got a great price, I say the more the merrier! 😉 Truthfully you’re probably playing it smart, this way if a couple aren’t “up to parr” then you can eliminate and still have plenty.  I had a friend who ordered all her flowers from Sam’s for a Sept. wedding and they were beautiful!! 🙂

@Jamie42003:  I think I’d rather have too much than not enough when it comes down to it, you’re spending money, but not nearly as much as if you went through a florist so more power to ya! Let us know how they turn out, I’m planning on DIYing the flowers but our wedding isn’t until next May 🙂

It all depends on how many arrangements you will be making, maybe you will also need some greenery.

I ordered 300 tulips and I’m worried I need more just in case some are less than beautiful. Much prefer the fear of having too many over too little! The thought of my house covered in a sea of red flowers is exciting to me!

It depends how many bouquets/centerpieces/arrangements you’re planning on, but it doesn’t sound too crazy to me. We ordered 200 red roses from Sam’s and it was plenty for our bouquets/bouts/centerpieces, but we only used 3 flowers per centerpiece–we easily could have used double that number with a different type of arrangement!

I was wondering the same thing. I’m planning on ordering from them too, for all the same things you are but I’m only doing three flowers per table for the centerpieces. I thing I’ll probably order the same number. Keep us posted on how everything turns out. I’ve read really good things about them!
