We got our reception flowers from Sams and were really happy with them!

I would recommend picking them up a day or two before you plan to put them together so they can liven up because they come from the grower in boxes and without being in water.  Also, I asked Sams for some of those black containers to hold the flowers in–they gave me about 6 of them!!  I recommend asking for them because buying buckets just to put the flowers in is kind of annoying!

I’d show you pictures, but uploading isn’t working for me right now for some reason.  If you go to my bio on here and look at my reception photos you should be able to see my centerpieces.  They were yellow roses in silver julep cups and white daisies in blue wine bottles.

We are doing our flowers from Sam’s too.  We got a bouquet for the trial and were very happy with the quality and care of them.  I think they will work very well, and the price is beyond unbeatable!

I am definitely interested in this option as well! I’m not hiring a florist because I don’t have a big flower budget and I’m not obsessively in love with any particular kinds or colors of flowers that I HAVE to have. I’m also not decorating with flowers in the church or for centerpieces or anything – just using them for bouquets and bouts and thats about it.

I was considering fiftyflowers or growersbox….but I do like Sam’s and I’ve seen pretty blooms there before. I would be interested in hearing everyone elses experiences with ordering flowers from them as well!

Does anyone have experience that can compare Sam’s to Costco?  I was considering costco, but that was before I knew sams had this option as well . . .

I’m a Costco member who purchased flowers from Sam’s because I preferred the collections there (less corny). Here’s a link to my experience: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-beautiful-sams-club-flowers

The Sam’s site has more photos of the flowers. The Costco site (which should really be modified given that many brides are exploring bulk flowers) has few photos and they don’t “say” very much. I sometimes suspect that sites intentionally give less information so they aren’t bound to give you exactly what you see in the photos, since stock can vary. Hmm…
