@2PeasinaPod: wow, what a story, i am sorry you had to go thru that 🙁 it is also my worst nightmare to have a c-section and i never imagined that a c-section in itself could also go badly 🙁 however, it seems you are better now and you and your son are healthy and happy, so that is inspiring to know that there is a light at the end and all is good and as it is should be. i am very happy for you and i send a BIG congratulations!!!! And Samuel is such a cutie pie! I love the name as well. It was on our list of top names, but I ended up ruling it out because my niece is Samantha and i thought it was too similar, lol.

Thanks so much everyone! While L&D and the days following weren’t ideal, he’s definitely our blessing. He’s currently drooling on his dad just like his mom does when she falls asleep on him ;o)
The one good thing is that if we’re so lucky to have another, it will be a scheduled C-section (I definitely wouldn’t do a VBAC with all of the trouble we had with Sam), and it should be much more routine given that I wouldn’t be pushing for 2 hours beforehand!

Oh my, he is so precious! I was so excited to see that your sweet boy had arrived, but I’m sorry to hear it was such a rough journey. It’s wonderful that he’s healthy & home glad you can now focus on settling in as a family. (Also, our little guy sleeps about 3 hr stretches at night & I never thought 2 hrs of sleep could be so glorious)

Congrats on your new little one Pea. I am so sorry about all the trouble you had bringing him into this world. He is adoreable though! I am looking forward to seeing more pictures to come. He is so alert in your photo! I wish I could Nolan to look that alert in any photo. Enjoy him as much as you can!
