My husband took me for my birthday to the Tower of the Americas to the restaurant at the top called Chart House. The view is amazing and the food is lovely. I had the best creme brulee there. Super romantic too!

I haven’t been to Texas de Brazil, but I’d expect it to be around $40-50 with drinks and tip per person.

I like Paesano’s and have heard good things about Biga’s on The Banks if you are downtown.

I have to second Tower of the Americas. I ate there while at a conference, and it was amazing. I still talk about the salmon topped with spinach, wrapped in puff pastry and then all topped with lump crabmeat. The raspberry souffle wasn’t bad, either!

If you like Mexican, Mi Tierra or Casa Rio.  Both have a lot of tourists, but the food is still excellent.  Casa Rio is right on the Riverwalk, so you can sit outside.

I think Cappy’s on Broadway is awesome!
