@josie501: Where are you having the wedding? I know of a great taco shop in North County that does catering. It is called Rudy’s Taco Shop, with locations in Solana Beach and La Costa. The food is so delicious!

Hands down my favorite Mexican food on earth is from Tony’s Jacal in Solana Beach. My family has been going there for the past sixty years and they have the most delicious, simple Mexican food. The one thing I recommend if you use them though is that you pick simple items: tacos, chili rellenos, tostadas are their specialties. They have delicious guacomole, rice, beans, and cabbage salad. They have more American entrees like enchiladas suiza, but because they are a pretty traditional, authentic restaurant, these dishes don’t really stand out. I highly recommend the turkey tacos; sounds odd but it’s really just a juicier version of a chicken taco.

@blg529: Omg, totally agree! I love love love Tony’s Jacal for a sit-down restaurant. They have the best caddy margaritas too!

@josie501: You can’t go wrong with Rudy’s or Tony’s for catering. I wasn’t aware that Tony’s catered too, but it makes sense. Check out reviews for both restaurants, look at pricing, and decide which one fits your budget/tastes.
