Does anybody know the relation between San Patrick and La Sposa? I have found the La Sposa Lituania dress and LOVE it, but then found the San Patrick Estambul. The only difference I see is the top where they have rounded out the corners on the Estambul, which I have would a seamstress do anyways on the La Sposa.
Is San Patrick a sister company? I called around and it seems that the San Patrick is $175 less.
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts/ history on this.
Thanks so much!

San Patrick and La Sposa are sister companies of the Pronovias group so you may see similar styles.
I believe that Pronovias = $$$, La Sposa = $$, San Patrick $

@YSQueen: Thanks for the reply! I have found these two dresses and the San Patrick is cheaper. However, I can’t find it anywhere to try one, so I’m not sure if the lace is the same quality, but I can barely tell a difference. I’d have to order the Estambul without trying it on, so not sure if that is the smartest idea.
The are attached…does anyone see a difference? Do you think it’s safe to buy the Estambul without laying your eyes/ hands on it? I’ve tried on the Lituania and LOVE it!

you should definitely try it on before you buy it!
in addition to the difference that you mentioned, i would think the lace might be different too (and therefore the price difference), but if that’s something trivial to you, buy the cheaper one!

All I know about them is that the lace veil I bought from the 2011 LaSposa collection (it’s pictured with Dagen, below) has a San Patrick label on it!
Can your shop not request a sample for you to try? Often they can do this for a charge, but I suppose it would depend on how much the charge was as to whether it would be worthwhile for you.
TBH, I think you’d be safe going for the San Patrick one – I bet the saving is made from weird things like a slightly shorter train, or subtly different lace. I expect it’s still beautiful.
(PS, Lituania is one of the few dresses that caused me slight dress regret – I think it’s stunning!)
