We want to do a sand ceremony. The problem is that it’s a destination wedding and we can’t use glass bottles because they are too heavy and might break in our luggage during our flight back home. I just found these plastic bottles:
They also have a fillable picture frame, but i think in both cases the opening might be too small and it will take forever to fill them.
Anyone have any idea where to buy a plastic sand ceremony set, or is there something else we could use? Anyone have photos of their sand ceremony to inspire me?

That is a hard one. I would be worried that this would get messed up on the travel home even in the plastic bottle…
Another idea could be to have twice as much sand and then when you get back home do it again in private. I’m not sure how sentamental you are. For some people that might work.
These look great and probubly would hold up quite well if packed properly. – http://www.sayanythingceramics.com/sand_ceremony_frames.php
They also have ones like these – http://www.somdweddings.com/shopping/product.php?p=020057&c=009217, or http://advice.invitationsbydawn.com/2009/11/unity-ceremony.html or http://www.wedd101.com/w79-symbolic-acts.html that look a lot thickers and I wouldn’t think would break even in luggage as long as they were packed properly.

Instead of packing it in your luggage, could you ship it back? Packed correctly, I’m sure it would arrive safely. It might not be cheap, but you could look into the prices. I think it would be worth it. Plus, I don’t know about you, but glass just seems more “heirloom-worthy” than plastic.
