(Closed) Sand Ceremony, time?

I went to a wedding with a sand ceremony once. I think the whole thing took maybe 4 or 5 minutes tops. They had both mothers add sand and then the bride and groom added sand. Of course the groom just dumped his sand right into the vase while the bride poured slowly so they didn’t exactly end at the same time. Still, it didn’t take very long.

The last sand ceremony I saw there were 5 people doing the sand (3 step kids).  The vase they had was about 16 inches tall and about 10 inches in diameter and to save on time they all just took turns and poured their colors in. 

I’m thinking it depends on how much sand you want to use and how big the container your putting it in is!
