We went to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica, after consulting about Sandals with a travel agent.  I picked Jamaica partly because the government requirements for a wedding were less than other places in the Carribean.  Couples is described as an adults only all inclusive, but a bit more laid back and relaxed than Sandals.

I have friends who went to Sandals in the Bahamas for their honeymoon (that’s how we got the idea to go to the Carribean in the first place), and they loved it.  I think most of the Sandals resort are similar.  They said they were happy spending most of their time in the pool, just refreshing their drinks 🙂

I haven’t been to either of the places you listed, but I’ve been to Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica. We really, really enjoyed Sandals. I recommend consulting a travel agent. Ours saved us a lot of money and was able to help us pick the resort that was the best fit for us.

Couples resorts in Jamaica! They are slightly cheaper than Sandals, but you get more excursions/ activities included. Also, Couples doesn’t require you to upgrade to the top tier room to get all of the benefits. Everyone receives the same level of top notch service. Plus Couples has a strict no topping policy because they actually pay their employees living wages rather than have them depend on tips. It makes things so much easier not having to carry around a bunch of cash.

It’s not a Sandals but I had an amazing honeymoon at Cocobay in Antigua!
