Commenting to follow – Fiance and I have the Bahamas on our short list for destinations, and that’s one of the resorts we’re looking at.

I’ve done some research and is it safe to expect around a $250 ish documentation fee and a minimum 48 hour residency requirement (2 business days)?

I didn’t get married there but when we were there on our honeymoon we met a couple that got married there just a few hours earlier. She was still in her dress. We toasted them and had drinks with the wedding party. They seemed to relly be having a great time with thier guests.

@Chelsea0087: HI! I’ve been there– didn’t get married there, but it’s beautiful! You can even rent out the private island– it’s pricey, but still an option! Are you looking to go just the two of you or inviting guests?
